Oh Lord, 13 days and counting until I have to have this boat in a somewhat “habitable” condition. I haven’t been posting much, because I’ve pretty much been spending every waking moment working on the boat. I see my wife maybe 1 day out of 6 lately. We put in our 30 day notice at our condo the first of this month, and we still have a ton of shit to pack up and either store, sell, or donate. Some guy came by last night and bought our 42″ HD Sony TV we listed on Craig’s List, and this morning it was a bit strange sipping coffee without the sound of the morning news as a distraction.

I’ve essentially re-plumbed the freshwater system, installed the fittings and ran hoses to and from the holding tank, and finished fabricating the Corian counter tops for the sink and refrigerator. We now have the ability to keep food on the boat, make ice, and wash dishes. Pretty soon we’ll be taking a dump in that brand new Lavac head, and it will flow unobstructed to the holding tank.

Back at the boat, working on cutting the Formica for the walls inside the head. Next order of business it to make us a place to go pee in the middle of the night. I need to get that toilet bolted down and hooked up to the waste water system pronto. I need to make this boat our home!!! Fun & games is over. I got an agenda, and it’s GO TIME!!
