We finished gluing the Formica on the walls today. What a huge difference! The boat feels a lot brighter inside. Rich has been procrastinating on this project because he had to take down the boom gallows and backing plates in the galley and over the nav station. It turned out to not be that big of a deal. All that’s left is to bed the portlights, which I finally finished polishing yesterday, and install the glass in three of the them.
On my way to get groceries today I stopped by the pipe where we saw the cat a few nights ago. Piper was still there and came right out to me. I had some more food for Piper and he/she gobbled it up. I picked up some canned food, hard food and paper bowls at the grocery store and stopped again on my way back to the boat. Piper loved the canned food. This time when I left Piper didn’t try to follow me and didn’t cry. He/she was too busy eating as fast as he/she could. I also saw a bunch of crawdads this time. I wonder why the cat doesn’t try to catch the crawdads.
Suki hates all the noise we make working on the boat. This is her new hangout/hiding spot.
