Another project shelved

Storage on a small sailboat is limited and though our boat has a lot more storage than some, I can envision the day when we run out of storage space.  Rich and I sold, donated, gave away and threw away the majority of stuff we’d accumulated over the 18 years we’ve been together before moving aboard.  

So here’s the catch…

It’s raining off and on today, and supposed to for the next couple.  Guess I’ll go mop out and sanitize the bilge.  Now that the bulk of the “livability” re-fit had been addressed (y’know, running water, flushing toilet, cooking stove, etc.), it’s time to wrap up loose ends.  With all these half-done boat projects lately, […]

Been busy…

We haven’t posted much lately, but I assure you, we’ve been busy.  I’ve been working on getting all the gunk off the portlights when I’m at the condo during the week and then working on stuff on the boat on the weekends.  Rich has been working on the countertops.  

White Trash Bimini & Duct Work

Holy Mother!  It’s hot.  We’re in the middle of a heat wave in Sacramento.  It was only 106 yesterday.  Today’s forecast: 108.  Tomorrow: 111!  Geez, how is Rich supposed to be working his butt off on our long list of projects in this heat?
